Marriage Vampire: Living with a Narcissist

Knowledge Empowers. Sometimes it can save your life.

Sadly, some women recognize their marriages are not what they expected when they married. Their spouse is different from the person who so lovingly courted and married them. Their world may have turned into a life that is in constant turmoil, and feelings of distrust and insecurity have crept into their daily lives.

This book is written especially for Christian women, who are especially susceptible to NPD lies and manipulations. These women believe in Biblical teachings and are caught off-guard at the way an NPD twists scriptures, manipulates others, makes them feel unloved and unworthy, and convincingly lies without any guilt or remorse. They are trapped in a relationship that is not what God intended. Their narcissistic husbands do not treat them in the loving and precious way God instructed them to do.

The problem may not be them; instead, it may be that they are unknowingly living with a person who exhibits characteristics of or has a personality disorder. This book addresses Narcissistic Personality Disorder, those initially charming yet highly unstable personality types. Narcissists create surreal worlds full of constant upheaval, distrust, and destruction so that they can feel powerful and control others. We must educate ourselves about Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD), so we can protect ourselves from a narcissist’s damaging impact on our lives, our faith, or our children.

Unlike fictional characters, NPD vampires exist. Most people do not know about these predators until they have been bitten by one, had their life energy drained away, their reality defined by lies, or became convinced they were going crazy. This book pulls back the curtain, revealing sources of a narcissist’s seductiveness and supposed power, exposing NPD marriage vampires as the weak people they are.

Learn to recognize the tricks a narcissist uses so convincingly that we don't trust ourselves any longer. Instead, listen to the Biblical teachings about your God-given strengths and reclaim the truth God teaches about how He feels about us.
